This is one of the most comprehensive scholarship programs aimed at indigent students of Ekiti State in various public schools in Nigeria.
The scholarship program which being is rolled out by Ekiti State Scholarship Board is funded by the state Government with the aim of increasing mass literacy, easing financial pressures on students and as well to give the physically challenged individuals a good opportunity to live up their potentials.
Scholarship Amount:
- Physically challenged Award: ₦80,000
- BSc/NCE/OND: ₦80,000
- Law School Bursary: ₦150,000
- Master's Degree: ₦250,000
- PhD: ₦750,000

Undergraduate Category:
The undergraduate scholarship award is open to all students of Ekiti State origin who are studying in various tertiary institutions across the country.
Eligibility:
- University applicants must be in the second year and above to qualify for this award
- All university applicants must have a CGPA of at 4.00 on a 5.00 scale in their previous academic year.
- Polytechnic/HND applicants must have at least a CGPA of 3.50 on a 4.00 in their previous examinations.
- OND/NCE applicants must also be in the second year of their studies and must have a CGPA requirements as those of HND students.
- CGPA scores are not the requirements for all medical students.
Note:
- All physically challenged individuals who are applying for this scholarship must as well possess similar requirements as described above.
- The general bursary award is open to all students of Ekiti State origin at all levels of undergraduate studies.
Postgraduate scholarship:
- All applicants for Masters/PGD scholarship must have a university degree of at least a second class upper division or upper credit for HND holders.
- Applicants for PhD scholarship must have a good undergraduate degrees in addition yi their Masters Degree.
Screening Requirements:
- Copies of student's school fees payment receipt
- Student's Identity Card
- Letter of Recommendation from the student's Head of Department
- Certified Copies of Student's transcripts
- Local Government of Origin Identification Certificate.

- Admission letter
- WAEC/NECO result
- Birth Certificate
- One passport photograph
Post-graduate applicants are required to bring:
- Copy of first degree certificate
- Master's Certificate for PhD students
