Thousands of candidates who participated in the 2026 mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are currently awaiting the release of their results, as anticipation grows nationwide.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has not yet made an official announcement regarding the release date. However, based on previous trends, JAMB mock exam results are usually released within 24 to 48 hours after the exam.
Candidates should be aware that the method for checking JAMB mock exam results may vary. In past examinations, results have been released through SMS notifications, email updates, or by uploading them to candidates’ individual JAMB e-Facility profiles.
Reactions from candidates across online platforms suggest growing anxiety and curiosity. While some candidates believe the results could be released at any moment, others expect a slight delay. There are also questions about whether scores from multiple mock sessions conducted at some centres will be released separately or merged.
Meanwhile, the main UTME is scheduled to begin on April 16, 2026. Candidates are advised to take their preparation seriously, using CBT practice tools and past questions to improve their chances of scoring high.
As the wait continues, candidates are urged to remain patient, regularly check for updates, and stay focused on their preparation for the main examination.
