Wole Ogunyemi Foundation Scholarship for 2024 Session

The Wole Ogunyemi Foundation Scholarship is one of the most comprehensive scholarship providers in Nigeria; with the opportunities available for every category of learning which includes the Secondary School level, undergraduate, postgraduate and even vocational education.

One of the aims of Wole Ogunyemi Foundation Scholarship is to reduce the level school drop outs, increase completion of one’s academic journey and increase mass literacy. 
The scholarship grant covers both the tuition fees, accomodations, research grants, and  books.

Scholarship Worth:

  1. ₦100, 000 (undergraduate and postgraduate)
  2. ₦75,000 (senior secondary school students)
  3. ₦50,000 (Junior Secondary School beneficiaries)

Eligibility Criteria:

Undergraduate-
  • Full time students of any university in Nigeria 
  • Must be in second year of his/her studies,
  • Must have maintained a minimum of CGPA of at 3.50/5.00
  • Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship 
Postgraduate-
  • Copy of undergraduate degree transcripts 
  • Copy of an undergraduate certificate,
  • A signed recommendation letter, 
  • A resume and a written personal statement of at least 300 words length.
Secondary Schools-
  • Must be enrolled into any government accredited secondary school in Nigeria,
  • Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship.

Required Documents:

  1. A completed application form
  2. A letter of recommendation from the department head (undergraduate/postgraduate)
  3. Copy of academic transcripts for the already completed semester 

Application Deadline:

  • August 30th, 2024. (Undergraduate & postgraduate)
  • June 30, 2024 (Secondary School cadre)
