China University of petroleum international 2024 students scholarship
The China University of petroleum scholarship for international students is a Beijing government initiative aimed at attracting excellent foreign students into the university. The visions of this program are centered at promoting quality of education for international students, foster skills and cultural diffusion and to promote global technological advancement. The scholarship is for an English taught and Chinese language programs both for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. It is open to every academic programs being offered in China University of Beijing.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must be an international student (non-chinese citizen)
- Applicants for Bachelor’s programs must be a holder of smart high school certificate and must not be older than 25 years at the time of enrollment.
- Masters degree applicants must not be more than 35 years old, and must have a university degree obtained from a recognized institution.
- Applicants for PhD programs must possess a masters degree in a related discipline and must not be more than 45 years.
- Must have high standard of English language proficiency. Citizens from English speaking countries need not to show proof of English language proficiency while citizens from Non-English speaking countries need to possess at least IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL score of at least 85%.
- Must be a law abiding citizens in his/her country without any criminal conviction records,
- For Chinese language taught majors, undergraduate applicants must possess at least HSK 4 score of 222 while postgraduate applicants must possess HSK certificates and above.
Scholarship covers:
- Full tuition fee waiver,
- Free accommodations,
- Monthly allowances and
- Comprehensive health insurance.
Required documents:
- Copies of all academic certificates and transcripts,
- Scanned copies of Chinese student visa,
- Scanned copy of data page of international passport
- Passport photograph
- Police report or proof of non-criminal records
- Research proposals, and acceptance letter from supervisor
- Proof of language proficiency and other documents that may be required at point of application.
Application deadline:
Application for BSc programs ends on 5th May, 2024 while that of MSc and PhD ends on 30th May, 2024.
