DEWEF scholarship for Nigerian students

The Rotary International District 9110 Nigeria Education and Welfare Endowment Fund (DEWEF) announces scholarship opportunities for indigenous undergraduate students for the year 2024/2025 session.

The application is only available for indigent undergraduates who are currently fee paying students in state or federal universities or Polytechnics.

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Must be an indigenous student if the district.
  2. Must be currently enrolled in State or federal universities or Polytechnics within Lagos or Ogun States 
  3. Must have completed the first year of his/her studies with good performance.
  4. NCE students of 200L can also apply.

Required Documents:

  1. Recommendation letter from the student’s Head of Department, Faculty Head or Registrar.
  2. First School leaving certificate and SSCE(WASSC, NECO, NABTEB)
  3. Prove of year 1 first semester and second semester academic performances.

How to apply: 

Application can be picked at through the rotary club in the community; not currently available online.
