About the Grooming Centre 2025 University Grant
Now in its 7th edition, the Grooming Centre University Grant focuses on empowering students to conduct research that goes beyond academics and addresses real-world issues. The scheme targets studies in:
- Financial inclusion
- Rural development
- Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)
- Social enterprise
- Technology for communities
- Women and youth in development
- Other innovative topics aimed at poverty reduction
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Grooming Centre 2025 University Grant, applicants must be a/an:
- Undergraduate students in Nigerian universities or polytechnics
- Postgraduate students in Nigerian universities or polytechnics
Your research must:
- Address one of the listed focus areas
- Be original and data-driven
- Be supervised by a lecturer or academic mentor
- Demonstrate strong academic quality and ethical research practices
Benefits of the Grooming Centre Grant 2025
Successful applicants will receive financial support to fund their research:
- Undergraduates: ₦100,000 each (100 slots available)
- Postgraduates: ₦200,000 each (50 slots available)
