How to Apply for UNIZIK Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening 2025/2026
Before you apply for UNIZIK Post-UTME or direct entry, kindly note the important dates listed below;
- Registration Starts: Monday, 28th July 2025
- Registration Ends: Saturday, 16th August 2025
- Change of Institution/Course Deadline: Saturday, 9th August 2025
- O’Level/ A’Level Upload Deadline on JAMB CAPS: Saturday, 16th August 2025
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- UTME Candidates:
- Must have chosen Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, or its affiliate institutions as their first choice in the 2025 UTME.
- Must have the required pass marks in relevant subjects.
- Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
- Must possess an OND, HND, A’Level, or First Degree in relevant disciplines.
- Change of Institution:
- Candidates who did not choose UNIZIK as their first choice but scored the required pass marks can still apply after changing their institution choice via JAMB CBT centres.

How to Apply for UNIZIK Post-UTME
- Visit apply.unizik.edu.ng
- Create a UNIZIK application account:
- Validate your JAMB registration number.
- Provide your LGA, UTME subjects, email, phone number, and other profile info.
- Verify your email using the code sent.
- Log in using your JAMB registration number and password.
- On the dashboard:
- Upload your O’Level results.
- Pay the ₦2000 screening fee online or via bank.
- Submit your application and print the confirmation.
Note: You can edit your O’Level results before the deadline. Once submitted, they will be locked.


Direct Entry Candidates
- Must upload their academic transcripts and A’Level results to the Registrar and the Deputy Registrar (Admissions).
- Deadline for submission: Saturday, 16th August 2025
- Ensure your transcript is received before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
