Job Responsibilities
The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for:
- Assessing key risks facing the bank and recommending mitigation measures using the Risk Management Graduation Model (RMGM).
- Developing, analyzing, and sharing risk reports and dashboards to support management decisions.
- Managing enterprise-wide risks across all units and ensuring timely compliance with observations.
- Handling customer complaints via the Toll-Free Telephone Line, investigating issues, and escalating findings.
- Reviewing and verifying daily loan officer transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies.
- Performing quality control checks on transactions and operational processes.
- Conducting call-over of transactions to confirm correctness and completeness.
- Performing other ad hoc duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in any relevant field.
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience in risk management, internal control, or banking operations.
