Jim Ovia a Nigerian born business man, philanthropist and banker. He is the founder of Zenith Bank Plc where he served as a CEO until he became a chairman.
The Scholarship program was founded in the year 1998 the aim of granting financial reliefs to undergraduate Nigerian students.
According to report in the scholarship provider official websites, over 1500 students have benefited so far with more than ₦100m spent between the space of 2010 till date.
100 successful applicants are being selected annually for the grant and selection is based on intellectual performance.
