About the Keystone Bank Kiddies Poetry Competition
The Keystone Bank Kiddies Poetry Competition is an annual poetry contest for children in Nigeria, aimed at inspiring leadership, patriotism, and creativity in the next generation. This year’s theme is:
Participating in the Keystone Bank Poetry Competition allows children to express their thoughts on what it means to be a leader in Nigeria.
“The Future Leader of Nigeria”
Children are invited to write an original poem (maximum 150 words) expressing their vision for leadership and the Nigeria of their dreams.
Through the Keystone Bank Poetry Competition, children have the chance to share their dreams and aspirations for Nigeria.
Note that all entries are submitted online and completely free.

Price Category
Each age group will have three winners:
- Ages 4–6
- Ages 7–9
- Ages 10–12
Cash prizes for each category
- 1st Place: N300,000
- 2nd Place: N200,000
- 3rd Place: N100,000
This implies that each category produces three winners; first, second and third for each of the age category.

How to Enter the 2025 Children’s Poetry Competition
- Open a Future Account for your child at any Keystone Bank branch.
- Deposit a minimum of N20,000 into the account.
- Help your child write an original poem titled “The Future Leader of Nigeria” (maximum of 150 words).
