This award is open to 100 Level and 200 Level university students at the time of application.

- Have a minimum of five (5) SSCE credit passes, including subjects required for university admission
- Possess a JAMB/UTME admission letter to study any course in an accredited Nigerian university
- Be an indigene of a Midwestern Oil and Gas host community
- Provide a letter of recognition from a Ward Councillor or any authorized community representative
- Possess a valid university student ID card
University Merit Award – Eligibility Criteria
This category is strictly for Delta State indigenes.
Applicants must:
- Be a 200 Level student at the time of application
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale from 100 Level results
- Meet all other requirements listed under the University Community Award
