About the Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation Scholarship
The Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2026 Ruth Titilayo Undergraduate Scholarship for students studying in Federal and State Universities across Nigeria.
The RTEF Undergraduate Scholarship aims to empower brilliant and deserving students by providing financial support to ease the burden of tuition and other educational expenses. The scholarship may cover full academic expenses or serve as a partial contribution toward the student’s studies.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Ruth Titilayo Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be domiciled in Nigeria.
- Must be under 25 years of age at the time of application.
- Must be a current student or have been enrolled in a recognized university within the last three (3) years.
- Must have obtained a minimum GPA of 4.0 on a 5-point scale (or its equivalent on other grading systems).
- Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.
Scholarship Value and Benefits
Successful candidates for the Ruth Titilayo Undergraduate Scholarship will receive the following financial support:
- Tuition Allowance: Up to ₦100,000
- Maintenance Allowance: Up to ₦20,000
- Additional Allowances: May be provided for internal travel, fieldwork, or research expenses, at the discretion of the scholarship committee.
Selection and Assessment Process
Candidates for the Ruth Titilayo Undergraduate Scholarship are assessed on the following criteria:
- Academic Merit: Based on GPA and academic achievements.
- Application Strength: Quality and completeness of the scholarship form.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview where they will answer competency-based questions related to their academic level and aspirations.
