
The Governing Council of the Taraba State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Jalingo has officially announced a vacancy for the position of Registrar. Applications are now open to qualified professionals with extensive experience in academic administration.
According to the announcement signed by Bulus Maijankai, Secretary to the Council, the institution seeks a dynamic and experienced candidate with a strong background in administration within tertiary institutions.

Eligibility Criteria
- A Bachelor’s degree (Second Class Lower or higher) in Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or additional professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 15 years administrative experience, including 5 years in senior management (e.g., Deputy Registrar).
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tertiary education systems, academic regulations, and ICT proficiency.
- Applicants must be between 45–60 years old and be Nigerian citizens.
Membership in professional bodies such as NIM, CIPM, ASCON, or ANUPA is also required. Evidence of scholarly publications is desirable.
