Role Overview
Responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The role involves working with product, marketing, and IT teams to build secure, fast, and user-friendly websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive web pages.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO structure.
- Ensure security, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot website bugs and technical issues.
- Integrate APIs, payment gateways, and third-party tools.
- Perform routine updates, backups, and maintenance.
Requirements
- 2–3 years experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders.
- Understanding of SEO and website performance optimization.
- Git knowledge is an advantage.
- Must reside in Lagos (Ebute-Metta or Mainland preferred).
